Are Kohli 's comments about the crowd incorrect?

I was in the Chappel Stand all day with my Indian mate and NO ONE was abusive towards Kohli.

Sure on nervous 99 we all bronx cheered him as he seemed sooo very close to getting out .

BUT once he got the ton the entire crowd rose and clapped a job well done.

He's a silly immature boy to call the crowd drunkards.

I have no idea what sledging the players directed at him but if he doesn't have the gonads to take it then he should get out of international cricket!

Update:

edit @ the indiot trolls...were you there? NO!!! so don't give me your racist guff as I was there with AN INDIAN and no racism was experienced or shouted towards patrons or at the players...

I think the Indian team should be more worried about the reaction from the refined masses of Indians back home who will be wanting to burn more than effigies!

How do India hope to survive in any sport unless they learn to accept defeat gracefully & stop running to the press & ICC every time they are slighted? It's a man's world out there, not an infants playgroup.Other team members have praised the crowds so there goes his fantasy up in smoke.

He left himself open after getting fined earlier for giving the crowd the finger. He got stuck into the Aussie players when they told he was stupid trying for a non run on 99. He's a young bloke who thinks he knows everything. He'll learn.

Whether they were abusing him or not (which they weren't), Kohli handled it in completely the wrong manner.

The abuse was just fun and games, not serious. Rather than fight back, he could have just given the crowd a smile or a wave, and they would have been on his side.

He probably feels a bit uncomfortable. Kohli would be used to playing in front of such genteel crowds that have to be contained behind razor wire.

The crowd might have said something when he was walking back towards the pavilion. But yes, he shouldn't have said it in a press conference.

He is a very young head strong lad. He made a few mistakes on tour but he will learn. I am glad he showed some balls.

Kohli is just like the Indian trolls on here who are all mouth and have no evidence to back up the rubbish that comes out of his massive pie hole.

Some would've been drunk; not fair to say 'all' Aussies...
