Hi im just wondering, how much **** would i be in if like the cops or whoever the hell found out that i had cracked sony vegas pro 11 which is retail 600 dollars, or would they even waste their time?

Typically they don't search for the people who have just one cracked copy of sony vegas....but copy right infringement is a serious penalty and you could be unlucky and made an example out of like that lady that downloaded all those songs and got fined like 9k per song or something. Just get a legal version. Don't be like the chinese who pirate 90% of their software.

The cops and jail time is very unlikely.
The more likely outcome is your ISP (who sees EVERYTHING you do, as everything you do has to first go through them), will report you to the owner of the material (sony), who would then likely sue you for far more then the software is worth.
