Extreme Breast Pain?! (Tuberous breast)?
Hello I am 19 years old and I have tuberous/tubular breasts. I have researched this extensively and have found no one else that has had pain associated from this. I cannot touch or cup my breast without pain. I have to wear a bra size smaller than what I should just so it will cuddle them up to my body so they do not bounce when I walk. The pain is getting far worse and I have been getting these deep pink stretch marks because my breasts are trying to grow but they cannot due to them being tubular. Today my cat jumped on me and I instantly started to cry because of the pain. There must be something very wrong if I cannot even handle an eight pound cat on my chest. I have very bad insurance and they will not pay for anything with breasts because they think it is cosmetic. Help! Should I goto the emergency room? Should I make another appointment? I went once and my doctor said he wasn't very knowledgeable on this condition. We ruled out birth control being the reason for my pain. I never drink caffeine and I have tried Maca. What do I do?! How can I get my insurance to listen to me?

Ok your wearing a bra that is too small, that is why your in pain. Try measuring yourself and find out what your bra size starting point should be.

I have had pain from tuberous breasts and have never found a doctor who understood. After trying all sorts of tight stretchy tops to take the pressure off my areolas, I eventually began strapping by breasts in a way to lift my nipple and areola areas using Coach sport tape. It is not a good solution but I am not in pain when they are taped. The pain eventually caused pain in my back and shoulders, too, probably from the muscle tension that the pain was causing. It was difficult to ride in a car, because every bump in the road caused me pain. It was difficult to sleep, because my areolas bulge more when I lie on my side.

You should definitely get that checked out, It sounds pretty serious. Maybe go to a doctor that specializes in Breasts and knows what he's doing. You should also maybe take up these special massages I've read about recently. It could help Relieve the pain, and also be very soothing and a stress relievant. Sorry! And I hope this helped! :)

I too have pain when I don't wear a bra. It's like all of the pressure is going straight to my nipples, and it's not comfortable at all. It makes my chest feel pretty uneasy too.
