Should I get a robot dog to help with my loneliness?
I've been begging my parents if I could get a dog since I could remember and everytime they said no. I haven't had a pet in 5 years and I don't really have friends to hang with so I've been feeling very lonely lately. I feel like people only value my existence when they need something and that I'm completely invisible to everyone else. Like I'm alone in the world and no one cares.
I thought I was depressed but I read somewhere that before you think you're depressed, make sure you're just not surrounded by idiots. After I realized that I was, I figured that a dog or other pet would actually be happy to see me everyday after school, and show me that someone thought about me and missed my absense.
Since I can't get a real dog or other pet, I figured just to make one or buy my own robot dog. It's not as fun but close enough. So should I go through with this?

I think the robot dogs are silly.
They won't act or be like a real dog and I think you will be disappointed.
What you are looking for is the companionship of a real dog and unless you do a virtual pet online,
The only thing I would suggest is to find someone that you can be friends with and wait till you are grown and on your own to get your dog.
I know you can make friends with someone...Be patient you will find the right person to be your close friend

They see a puppy that has been accurately expert and nurtured. They don;t see the hours of labor that it takes to have a puppy behave this fashion. They believe the individual simply received a dog and that is how it used to be. They do not see the paintings, frustration and often tears it received to get him to that factor. As for the no losing they concentrate to people who say they breed puppies that do not shed. I have had puppies of all breeds, styles and sizes and each one has shed. Some greater than others. My house won't seem like I have four puppies and a pair of cats for the reason that everybody is groomed everyday and I vacuum everyday. My puppies aren't precise within the truth they do not shed. I simply paintings to hold the mess to a minimal. Do you notice the normal phrase right here "WORK" it is one they are going to in no way even reflect on because it used to be no longer on their record of necessities. That's why not anything even practically the puppy they require will ever exist.

Just get a real dog. A robot dog won't do anything for you. Beg really hard to your parents. Tell them how feel. Explain to them that you dont like the people you're surrounded with and that you'll feel better once you get a dog.

set up a date, to where one of your friends and you can bring your dogs somewhere. so they can play. maybe also see about dog 4H, then your dog will be around other dogs, while you learn how to train your dog, how to handle it, about dogs, how to show dog etc...and you actually compete at places in obedience and dog shows.
