Whats a very good brand of laptop/notebook?
I've had back luck with laptops. Which one could actually last me a few years? Oh and are laptops and notebooks the same thing?

You can't go by brands alone. The very best machines are what are called "Executive" Series laptops and those are machines that cost a lot more because they are designed for business professionals who travel extensively.
Some of the best Executive laptops are:
Lenovo Thinkpad T-Series
HP Elitebook
Panasonic Toughbooks
Samsung NP Series laptops

I'd go with a MacBook Pro, Dell Inspiron, or a Toshiba. And a notebook is just smaller than a laptop.

go with asus, they have free one year accidental protection plans on many models. if they were not quality laptops, asus would not give you the free warranty. an when you buy a laptop,buy it for what you need it for, not what you want.

Mac (apple) is the best, HP is 2nd, and dell is the WORST. Toshiba and Samsung are good too.
