what are the possible side effects/risks of stem cell treatments?
i am currently writing my biology AS level issue report, my topic is stem cells to treat spinal cord injuries and i am looking for some possible side effects of this kind of treatment, i am not looking for specific side effects just general risks/sid effects of any kind of stem cell treatment. any help is greatly appreciated :)

Anayways to answer your question. Stem cells are types of cells which can for into any type of human cells. There are many ethical reasons why this stem cell treatments shouldnt be used. But the side effects can also include rejection of the cells by the body. And also rapid replication of cells causing cancer. You might have heard recently in news that a man had stem cells implanted into his eyes and he has seen a massive improvement in his eyesight. Follow the links below.
