I heard a few people tell me they saw big bright not identifiable craft that could move very quickly then I saw that movie fire in the sky and come to a conclusion that if I ever saw an alien shoot first write a movie become rich would be in my future

I know it's almost certain we will never communicate with extraterrestrials, and probably never even know if they exist. Consider the chances of two powerful beams, their sources say 100 light years apart, being aligned at the most appropriate time in the history of mankind and the aliens for the purpose of communication, then remaining aligned for two hundred years whilst each becomes aware of the others communication. It makes looking for a needle in a haystack seem like a dead certainty.

I know that while alien civilisations are highly likely to exist somewhere in the universe, anyone who claims they are visiting Earth or who states that they have seen them, met them or been "abducted" by them is a complete moron and is talking total bullshit.
EDIT: four thumbs down... so I guess that makes at least four gullible morons on Y!A today. Perhaps one of them would like to provide some actual, real, verifiable evidence that aliens exist... after all, a Nobel Prize would probably be on offer to the first person to prove the existence of aliens...
@ Medun: If for some reason aliens "appeared only to me" then the first thing I would do would be to book myself into the nearest lunatic asylum. No thinking being is going to travel halfway across the universe just to play hide-and-seek with insignificant individuals. They'll either simply wipe us out or land on the White House lawn and start talking trade.
The basic contradiction in so-called alien sightings is that not enough people have seen them and the vast majority that claim they have are, quite frankly, below average intelligence and lacking in common sense. A civilisation with the technology to travel through deep space will have the technology to remain perfectly hidden if they so choose - they won't be caught peeing in the bushes by some mid-west hick farmer's boy or get their spacecraft photographed by a spotty teenager looking out of his bedroom window. If US planes could fly undetected over Iraq in the Gulf War and Special Forces could remain undetected behind enemy lines for months at a time, don't you kinda think that these "aliens" would be somewhat better still? So... if they haven't landed on the White House lawn then they only exist in the deluded imaginations of fools whose IQ is smaller than their shoe size.

GLH If one day they actually decide to visit us and they appeared for some reason only to you, when you try to explain to other people they will dismiss you, just like you would. So the moral is you never know, try to listen to people and don't think they are morons straight away.
On topic - I don't know sh*t about alien life forms, other than communists. *jk*
EDIT: @GLH I totally support your view, I don't believe they'll be playing hide and seek. I don't really believe they visit us. But still my above moral stands.

I know exactly as much about aliens as the entire population of the earth knows: zero.
There is precisely zero evidence of alien life. There is nothing to know.

Nobody knows anything about them. Although most scientists assume that they do exist that is just an assumption; nobody knows for sure.

They're all over the place. But they're not from around here, that's for sure! Mostly from Mexico, Russia, and mid-east. With a mix of Martians & Moon people.

I don't believe in the supernatural, I believe that so called 'UFOs' are either more advance planes or Chinese laterns. But everyone deserves their own opinion.
