isosceles triangle proof/!??! need all steps and stuff I've been trying for soo long?

    Well... first let's figure out what you would need to do. To find that it's an isosceles triangle, you would need to prove that two sides are congruent, which would be side AE and side DE.

    Anyway... this is pretty simple. First you would say that

    1. Angle EBC is congruent to angle ECB -- given.

    2. Then, segment BE is congruent to segment CE -- converse of the base angles theorem.

    3. Next, we say that segment AB is congruent to segment DC -- given

    4. Now we have a side, an angle, and a side of the triangles that are congruent. We can use the SAS theorem to prove that triangle EAB and triangle EDC are congruent.

    5. Now, because the triangles are congruent, their sides are congruent as well. You can say that segment AE is congruent to segment DE because "corresponding parts of a triangle are congruent".

    6. Then, we can say that triangle EAD is an isosceles triangle because the definition of an isosceles triangle.

    a) and b) are the line phase that bisects HJ c) is "given" d) is the way you be attentive to they are congruent e) is the reason issues are congruent to themselves f) is SSS (on account which you have not got any archives on any angles) g) is what facilitates you to interrupt congruent triangles into corresponding aspects i'm hoping that factors you in the splendid direction
