Won a PSVita from Taco Bell, but it says "pending verification", what does that mean?

Like many of the others on here I'm in the same boat. I did read their official rules and it says you're supposed to receive a text back saying "Congratulations, You Won!" But like others have posted on here I got the message, "U just WON a PlayStation Vita pending verification!" I was also concerned about the pending verification, sounding like some kind of scam. So I called the phone number that included in the follow up SMS from Taco Bell. There really wasn't a prompt provided for me to verify that this was legit so I chose the prompt that asked if I wanted to say something about a recent visit so I could talk to someone. The lady that answered explained to me that if I got a reply text saying I won, I won the prize. And the verification is more about age and residency, (I believe). IMPORTANT: The lady did say and I read this in the rules too, once you receive your claim form you will be taken to a webpage to fill it out, make sure when you do this that you fill it out fully and correctly before you hit submit and do it on a laptop would be best, because if for any reason once your on the page you get cut off or fill out the information incorrectly YOU FORFEIT YOUR PRIZE!!! NO DO OVERS, NO BACK BUTTON.

I won one today as well at 12:10pm. I literally jumped with joy and boasted about it. So hyped! I took a screenshot and saved the box just incase they tell me otherwise. I bookmarked. I am still getting pending as well =(. No email, or anything yet. I will keep y'all posted in a few days. They better not cheat me out of a vita.

Update: To the previous user, I did it on my phone. I took a screenshot, and bookmarked it. Everytime I go to the bookmark it still says "You Won! (pending verification) No really, we're not kidding". I don't think taco bell thought this thru like my friend said. I give it until early Next week to hear something.

@ Dogfishhead I did it on my Android phone as well. There wasn't any captcha or anything. I did everything it asked for. I tried the url and you were right. Wtf? That's retarded. There's no point of bookmarking it. I just kept the receipt, showed the manager of taco bell, and kept the box. So they should have that code on file or on a computer. Do you really need the receipt though ?

I got SOMETHING ! :) YES! YAHHH! I just replied on the same email with my info. SWEET

UPDATE 8:44 pm - So now what? Do we get an email for a tracking number or another email?

I just won one a couple days ago as well. I have been checking my email and still nothing. As from what I read from the rules, all winners will receive something in the mail to confirm and select your prize (the prize being the PS Vita and your choice of a game) and send it back and then receive your prize sometime later. So all we can do is wait and if nothing comes make sure you take a screen shot of the page and save it for later so you can contact Taco Bell to ensure yourself your prize.

I just won one too. I entered my code, it said I won and asked me for my information. I entered that and it just took me back to the page where it said I won pending verification. I didn't get an email or anything. Did they ever get back to you?

I purchased my box around 12:20pm and entered the code around 12:45pm.

EDIT: I entered my info on an Samsung Galaxy Nexus running ICS 4.0.3. I didn't do the captcha that you have to do if on the computer. I was able to enter my info and when I hit submit it just took me to the congrats you won page. I book marked it, saved it for offline viewing and also took a screen shot. Though, it doesn't really matter. If you put in the url that you're redirected to when you win you can get to that page without actually putting in a code... so I don't think that the screen shot would be good enough proof. I also took a picture of the code on the box, kept the box and the receipt proving the date/time I purchased the box because I entered the code about 20 minutes after I was done eating. I wish the rules were more specific about how you are supposed to verify.

It said I won through text message. They asked for my email and I submitted it. They replied got it now go to your inbox. 2 days and still no email. I called TB yesterday and the lady I spoke with said it will take a few days for the processing...? I asked if she'd received other calls about this. She said yes, other text winners have not received the email either. I told her, that's promising...I guess.

I'm in the same boat, me and my roommate won and still waiting to hear back from them, hopefully it isn't some fake thing because that would be false advertising on their part.
