laptop ruinning vista not seeing router?
just subscribed to clear network and my laptop will not connect or see clerar modem/router but if i connect direct i have internet any suggestions

1.Go Start / Control Panel / Network Connections..Wireless Network Connection icon is red crossed:
1.Some laptops have a switch that turn WIFI ability on (read manual if yours has it)
2.Right click on Wireless Network Connection icon.On drop-down menu left click Enable
3.Right click on Wireless Network Connection icon.On drop-down menu left click View available Wireless Networks.Find your home network and left double click to connect.

Do a manual erach of the wifi available. then click connect. that should do it. It is probably trying to connect to your old provider
