Do you think this nickname works?

I've always wanted to name her Ottilia, but it's sort of long. For nicknames... I was thinking Til-- Pronounced Teal. Does that work?

A nickname in my opinion is a personal thing, so if this is what you wish to nickname your daughter then by all means go for it! It makes sense to nickname her that just make sure that she is also addressed by her real name as well :)

It's alright, but if you want to make her an even bigger target for playround mockery I would suggest the name Guinevere. For nicknames... How bout Guin-- pronounced Gean?

Source(s): As a small child I remember it was always easier and more satisfying to bully children with weird, unique names.
