Why do global warming deniers keep saying the sun is more important than CO2?

Day and night are created by the rotation of the Earth, not the sun. And the "wobble", by which you might mean the tilt of the Earth, effects the seasons, not day and night.

I am a global warming/climate change denier. It's just not true. How do I know? Ask yourself this question. The last ice age was about 20,000 years ago and then the ice melted. How did that happen? No SUV's, no coal burning power plants, not very many people around at all.

The planet warms and cools over long periods of time. In some places it gets cooler and some places it gets warmer. And yes, any warming IS caused by the sun.

You need to do some reading outside your normal college classes where the teachers will only indoctrinate you

It's an attempt to confuse and mislead people who don't really look into the actual science in all that much detail. The sun did have an increase in solar activity from 1880 to 1980. Since 1980, however, solar activity has actually decreased, while the Earth has increased .5 degrees Celsius since then.

CO2 is expoused by Al Gore, you, and many people here as the single ingredient. Science is a body of knowledge, not forcing people to believe and act according to a single variable with absent data.

CO2 is a molecule with potential energy stored in its bond. When you excite those bonds a teensie tiny energy is released, then absorbed in a teensie tiny way. OK now. the atmosphere is a 1/3 of 1% mass weight of this stuff and it has increased 60 ppm according to NASA (thats .000006 %). IS THIS A BIG DEAL??? YOU and others have FAITH that CO2 is causing the warming. You are a religious nut in my opinion.
