Gay guy keeps looking at me in class (i'm gay)?

So there's this new guy at school and he's Italian and well when I was in English I would look over at him just in curiosity and he would be looking straight back at me and not look away. so after less than a second I would look away feeling kinda awkward. and well I caught him(accerdentally or not) looking at me about 6 times today.

And I was thinking why would he be looking at me. does it mean this guy likes me or does he have no intentions in liking me. He doesn't smile or give any facial expression but considering he's on the other side of the room, and I would say I have pretty good looks. Please help I have a shitty 'gardar' as well.
