Hi Abby, I do think they are confusing, though are nice characters seen. The conversion is an issue, even for a learned mind. OK convert, in a milisecond, XMCLL, which usually is a past notation. and reminds me of things such as 24 hour time, though I get its origins, or Celcius regarding temperatures, and I get that too. Dates in years, nags at me, as in BC and AD. I get that too yet BC is counted backwards, while AD is counted forward. That leads to another question regarding AD, did we start the calendar from death, or birth and if so, why so? What I may never get straight however is driving on the left side of the road with the steering wheel on the right side of a car? The mystery is intriguing though.
Another example regarding time is a birthday, IE" a childs. When we celebrate their first birthday, they have already moved into their second year of life? I realize I'm rambling but why isn't there also a designation, BD, in there, Before Dinasours, or BH, Before history???
I think I should just eat my granola bar, not look at the ingredients and focus more on what matters more.

That would suck really since I don't know my numbers above 12 - and only because I have a couple of roman numeral clocks - phone numbers would be a hoot.
I did ride my chariot into battle once though - good times.

You mean like Led Zeppelin using them for album names on their first three albums. Or maybe we could use them for children's names instead of George or Jane. We could start calling them Child I , Child II, Child III, etc.
