What goes best with shrimp scampi?
My friend and I are having an ahem “spirited debate” over shrimp scampi I cooked last week. (Yes, this is going to end well tonight lol.)
Please give me your opinions on what goes best with it. Be it pasta, rice, potatoes, sautéed cabbage, or even toast, the gist of my question is what do you think tastes best regardless of what it is?

I generally serve a shrimp scampi as a main meal over pasta usually with a side salad. Otherwise, I serve a couple of shrimp scamp with a steak, baked potato and steamed vegetables and/or salad.

What about a baked/broiled tomato with cheese melted on top as the side. The tomato goes well with any pasta dish. Clean tomato, cut the top 1/5 off and toss,maybe pour a teaspoon of wine, sprinkle a little garlic powder or garlic salt on top of the tomato then use some mozzarella on top to melt. If you broil, be careful not to burn the cheese on top.

it would be very good in some sort of melted garlic/butter mixture with a side of fries or mashed potatoes. Not the healthiest food but is still very yummy!
