Is losing 50 pounds in 4 months too much?

basically i wanna cut down to about 205 from 254 for prom and my senior activities. im only 5'7, and the only exercise i can really do is basketball after school for about an hour and some running. im already eating vegies n fruits more and i drink loads of water, but is it too much weight in too little time?

also, any tips to speed up my weight?

**i am in school all day so i cant really do the whole plan your meals thing**

    You can safely lose 1-2 pounds per week, so it might be stretch, I would suggest eating healthy and exercising safely, don't over do it. Best of luck in your goal, as well I would suggest doing some muscle building exercises as muscles burn more calories.
