Is losing 50 pounds in 4 months too much?

basically i wanna cut down to about 205 from 254 for prom and my senior activities. im only 5'7, and the only exercise i can really do is basketball after school for about an hour and some running. im already eating vegies n fruits more and i drink loads of water, but is it too much weight in too little time?

also, any tips to speed up my weight?

i have a laptop,bought 4 years old.2 years ago i got a new hardrive free from hp,but now its running slow alot.i run disk cleanup,defrag and cc cleaner almost daily but for some reason my computer is still slow.so is my browser google chrome.i have plenty of memory space and check for viruses too,but nothing still slow. so anyone have any ideas why its slow and how i can make it faster? what about google chrome,why is that slow?

this is the first time taking them and im a junior currently and ill take the ACT in about 2 weeks

monday was my first day of working out in a gym,i did upper body,benching,dumbells things like that.

but today its wednesday and the soreness is worese than yesterday.today i can only move my arms so far.if i try to stretch them all the way out,halfway it feels so bad,could it be a tear? or is it just kus i overdid the workout since i hadnt done it it a while? also when should i do work out again on my upper body?
