Is this diet a good one?

Im 15, I'm not overweight but I could do with a healthier diet as if I carry one with the one I am currently pursuing I would definitely end up overweight.

Is this a good diet? I will give you am example of one day

Breakfast @ 6:45 one hard boiled egg with whole grain toast, handful of muesli or oatmeal with skimmed milk, one portion fruit/200ml of fresh fruit juice not from concentrate (just squeezed juice from fruit)

Lunch @ 11:00. (school) : one slice whole grain toast with 2 wafer thin chicken or turkey slices and lettuce and tomato, one portion veg (like carrots) and fruit (sometimes I skip the sandwich cause I don't feel hungry is that bad? Should I always eat it?

Snack @ 3:30 - cereal/muesli bar or portion veg

Dinner 5:45 (I know it's early but it's when my family always has dinner so I can't not eat then)

Usually one portion lean meat or fish, 2 portions carbs (rice, pasta, potatoes, etc) and 2 portions veg

Then after that if I get hungry ill eat a yoghurt, milk, or fruit/veg or a pack of crisps or popcorn

Is this a healthy balanced diet? What can I add or takeaway from it?

Hey, this is actually fantastic. Only thing I'd say is maybe have fruit with breakfast rather than fruit juice. That way you get the fibre as well as the vitamins.

Also don't skip your sandwich at lunch. Even if you're not hungry your body still needs the nutrients.

You definitely have the right idea when it comes to eating healthily.

Well,I'm from another country so my eating habits are totally different from yours.

In my opinion your diet could be ok,the only thing I'd like to suggest you is to eat less meat.

From what I've read you eat meat twice a day,I think once a day is more than enough. Maybe once or twice a week you could try fish, which is healthier.

If you're not hungry at lunch, it's ok to eat vegetables as long as you have a snack in the afternoon.

Very healthy diet just if I were you eliminate ANY meat beef chicken pork you don't need that stuff replace that with a fruit or vegetable also the snack is up to you... I reccomend one snack after dinner but if you need two then that's fine just add some more exercise

Take away the breakfast, the lunch, the snack, the dinner, and the after dinner hunger. Or try bullimia, twice the taste for zero calories!
