Top 5 dumb things NBA fans say...?
5. "LeBron James is a choker/doesn't have a clutch gene"
Last I checked a player who LACKS a clutch gene CAN'T do these.
* have great performances in the playoffs
* take over games as the only true star for their teams
* do what LeBron does against defensive teams in 4th qtr/OTs
* PLAY MUCH BETTER ON THE ROAD
* PLAY MUCH BETTER IN ANTICIPATED GAMES
Plain dumb.
4. "LeBron James is a ball hog"
This can be an opinion. Even though I disagree, you might think LeBron hogs the ball. OK. But then again he is criticized for passing too much. Because he doesn't have the "guts" to take the shots.
LeBron James takes shots when he is having a good shooting night and good looks. He passes when another team mate feels good shooting (of the coach decides the plays). He is a willing passer AND has the guts to take any shot from anywhere.
Dumber.
3. "Michael Jordan won in his 7th season, so LeBron had to win in his 7th season"
Two things.
First off, why did Michael Jordan wait for his 7th season to show up in the finals? Isn't he supposed to will his team to win as long as he is in the NBA? At least after his 3rd/4th year?
And second, so Jordan somehow made it to the finals and win in his 7th season. Does LeBron have to? He can win, say, in his 10th season and that's still a win...
Clear logic failure.
2. "Jordan is 6-6 in the finals, that's perfect"
LOL so if a person spends more than a decade in the NBA but fails to reach the finals for more than half of their career, is it OK if they win all the finals?
Is it better to fail in the 2nd round or conf. finals than fail in the finals?
I don't know what to call this. But sad thing is this isn't the dumbest thing NBA fans say.
1 (by far). "Winning a ring is what makes you great, after all that's why you are in the NBA".
So let's say I am an average basketball player. I get decent team mates and coaches and beat some other better player than me who has bad team mates in talent and/or structure. Am I better than him?
Who was a better player in 2004, Chauncey Billups or Kobe Bryant?
Who was a better player in 2007, Tony Parker or Kobe Bryant?
Who was a better player in 2008, Paul Pierce or Kobe Bryant?
Who was a better player in 2011, Dirk Nowitzki or Kobe Bryant?
I am thinking your answer will be Kobe. But he "failed" all those years. Yet IN THOSE YEARS your answer will probably be Kobe.
And don't go "you wrote all THAT"... just because you have no answer.
In Miami Heat there are a lot of black guys sitting on the bench, so..
"Naked LeBron pics"...haha remember, you only insult someone if
1) they attacked you, which I didn't
2) you can't provide counter arguments and need to vent anyway.
@JM: I cant believe you supported this Jordan 6-6 "argument". So would it be worse if he was 6-7? That's unbelievable. And At #5 I didn't try to show Dirk was an average player. My entire point was if Kobe is better than those guys (which most people believe) then why didn't he win in those years. Again, I can't believe you missed my point. About LeBron having a better team than Dirk, we can talk about it more... because i disagree with almost everything you said.
@Eddie H: You sound like trolling because if those are your serious thoughts I am sorry then.
@Ben: LeBron has no motivation to win a ring? Really?
@XLR8: LOL what are you talking about?

I agree because if a ring made u great then each year then almost anyone could be a top 50 player
Also I hate it when fans say there is a foul when there clearly isn't just so there team can get fts

Here is mine.
1. How come, Miami Heat not doing well, since they got 3 good players in the team.
Answer: Yes, they got good players. But, it doesn't mean you can win at all. If you like to point finger at Miami Heat, what about Boston Celtics, they got 3 players who are good in there team.
2. Lebron James choke.
Answer: The word choke is over used. If Lebron James choke, how did he perform really good vs Boston. The man works on his game. Someday, he will be a clutch player.
3. Michael Jordan won in his 7th season, how come Lebron James didn't do it.
Answer: Michael Jordan and Lebron James are different. It doesn't mean, whatever they did in each of the season, it doesn't mean another person have to follow the same thing.
4. How come Miami Heat fan cry.
Answer: They don't cry. Your hating because, Miami Heat got a better team.
5. Lebron James not going to win a NBA Champion.
Answer: Someday, he will win a NBA Champion, and most of you would shut up.

1. Players are better than Michael Jordan
2. Heat Hater (For every reason)
3. D-Rose & Durant are overrated (2 young stars that quickly became Superstars)
4. Automatically assuming your favorite team is going to win the Championship before the season start and don't see how they compete in the season.
5. Overrating players that never have been rated in their life. (Scalabrine, Norris Cole, and so on.)
Kobe is the better player than all those guys those years but he didn't have the better team. He still have more rings than all those guys you mentioned and they failed more than he has, I'm sure all his career highs are better than their too.
81 points
12 3pointers
Reb???
Ast???
Lebron is not clutch & he does chokes alot, we are not saying he does it all the time but it happens the most I've ever seen on a star player.

5. I don't think LeBron is a "choker" but at the same time I do not see that clutch gene in him the way I do with players like Bird, Hakeem, Jordan, Nowitzki, Magic, etc. He plays well in anticipated games, like during the first return to Cleveland, and games like that in the regular season. He has even stepped up in pressure games in the playoffs, but when the stakes get the highest they could possibly be for the season, he tends to crumble. There have been bad playoff series that the clutch players above have had, but I have never seen ANY of them completely check out of a series mentally because of the pressure. If they failed, it was because they didn't play good. LeBron last regular season was inconsistent closing out games in the 4th quarter, and did a good job in some of the playoff games (against CHI/BOS), but when the stakes were the highest (2011 finals, 2007 finals, 2010 game 5 vs Boston, game 6 vs Magic, etc) he underperforms. He's a player who can be clutch at times, but I don't see the gene because of the inconsistency in the 4th, and the lack of ability to rise when the stakes are at the highest they can be.
4. That's dumb because he's their best facilitator and he has great vision so he should control the ball a lot. Simple.
3. Jordan and LBJ are two different people, simple. People need to stop comparing. What Jordan did is what Jordan did, and he was in a different circumstance.
2. I'll give him credit for that. Why? Well one thing, Jordan was stopped by MUCH harder teams than LeBron has been stopped by (bad boy Pistons, Bird's Celtics), and in those series he didn't check out when the stakes were the highest. He just lost while putting up ridiculous numbers. You can't take away 6/6 in the finals, because at the end of the day, even though he's not perfect, and has had bad playoff games (even in the 1996 finals), he's still the best finals performer of alltime, while LeBron has so far been one of the most underperforming. 8pts in the finals? 2ppg in the 4th? 35%fg in 2007? That didn't happen to MJ, and even in the 96 finals when he was inefficient, he had the confidence to still take over in the 4th, and not check out. Nobody can take away, or lessen Jordan as a finals performer, the facts speak for themselves.
1. So Dirk's an average NBA player? I can agree with Pierce and Parker for your argument because neither were ever MVP, 1st team all nba performers, but Dirk has been consistently, and is on Kobe's level. And he was better in 2011. But I don't know if you want to make this argument, because LeBron had a top 5 player in Wade, and top 5 PF in Bosh, and he had more talent, and defense, and there is a reason why everyone favored the Heat over the Mavs. You can't make it seem like LeBron had no one and the Mavs had a way better team, because EVERYBODY, picked the Heat, because only 4 times prior to that has a team won a title with ONE allstar (not paper allstar, real one) on their team. Dirk rose to the occasion, against the best defense, while the pressure got to LeBron, while Marion was guarding him.
BUSTED finger, AND flu. as well. While LBJ was healthy.
__
But my point was that Dirk and Kobe are close enough to where you can't really use that argument. I understand with Pierce and Parker because they're clearly not better than Kobe, but linking this back to your argument, I still don't think you have a point. The Mavs weren't far better than the Heat, to the point where you can make it seem like everything was stacked against LeBron. I can understand maybe in 2007 against the Spurs, because that Spurs team was way better. But the Heat team were the favorites by EVERYONE, and there's a reason why. You had the best defense, best SG, and a top 5 PF. Dirk had a busted finger, deeper team (even though Beaubois and Butler couldn't play), and played with the flu, along with the best Dirk defender Haslem on him. The teams were close enough, and the Heat were on the verge of being up 2-0, until Dirk had that clutch outburst at the end of game 2, to save his team when they needed him most. When LeBron's team needed him most, he just couldn't deliver the clutch performances of that caliber. Dirk had more balance. LeBron had better star power, and a better defensive team. (Majority of the time, that's what wins titles based off history). And why wouldn't I support the 6/6 thing? I should take away from the fact that he's had the best career finals performances of alltime over any player, which is a large reason why he's 6/6, and give LeBron the nod over him for being one of the most underperforming finals performers? Why? I'm sorry but I don't see how that's fair.

and 5 dumb things lebron fans says.
1. he didn't win any rings cus he had no help
Jordan had Pippen, Kobe had Shaq, Lebron has
M. William
2. Lebron is the best player ever, far better then Jordan
cus Lebron won his MVP much earlier then Jordan did.
3. Kobe is ball hog, he jack up shoot during 4th quarter not
like lebron, he try to get this team involve but his team failed
him, that DON'T mean he is not clutch. he made tons of game
winner during the corse of his career
4. Lebron is Clutch, his shooting percentage during 4 quarter is
far better then Kobes. (my reply is. Kobe try to close the game
while Lebron give up the ball, unless is near basket and he miss
couple of those at times)
5. Lebron is faster, Stronger, and bigger then Kobe (well... Duh
Lebron is 27 (I think), 8-9 years in the NBA, Kobe is 33, 16 years
in the NBA.)
- BenLv 79 years ago
Don't you see that your question is exactly the reason LeBron has no motivation to win a championship or become more than he is right now. All his fans love him unconditionally and they dont care about 4th quarter or rings either.
You don't care if he has rings, why should he?

On one tab, making sub par arguements (on yahoo answers) on his idol that could be rebuttaled by a 12 year old cavaliers fan. On the other tab, looking up naked pictures of Lebron.
