Can I switch to USMC PLC program before I go to National Guard Basic training?

I just enlisted in the Army National Guard in order to pay for college. I have always wanted to be a Marine and so I have been talking to my OSO about the PLC program. I am supposed to ship to basic this summer. He called me today and told me he thought there would be a way for me to get out of basic for this summer to go to PLC. Is this possible? How would it work?

If you desire to renounce then you definitely will have to no longer also have joined within the first location, the countrywide look after is somthing of huge value, you will have to no longer turn out to be facet of somthing that you are going to handiest give up alternatively than see it by way of.
