re-fitting a double bed with a queen frame?
What does a double bed with head and foot boards look like after being re-fitted with a queen-sized frame? Family is worried it will look odd with the mattress sticking out beyond the width of the head and foot boards. Anyone have a picture of such a re-fit?

It looks a little odd at first but it is only 3" on each side (a double is 54 inches wide and a queen is 60"). Once you get a comforter and other bedding on it, it is not that noticeable. the footboard looks the strangest -- you can usually remove that if you don't like how it looks.
