I always look at the supplier to the brands. I also take into consideration is it what they do, or do most. Is Sanyo known for its flat screens? Is LG or Sony known for there flat screens? When a company can rise and fall on a product, they best put their back into it, or they will go bust. To my point, Westinghouse and Polaroid make a flat screen too. How do you think they compare to Sanyo? Both companies are obviously trying to make money at the expense of the consumer, because it is not what they do. It is my opinion LG is a more committed brand to build a better mouse trap, so to speak. Sanyo is a good brand tv for a second room. I don't know that it is up to par for being the main box. It could be, but I don't know that answer. If you do a little digging find out the part supplier for the brand. A tell tale sign is the stand alone sound quality. Listen to both brands and see who cut corners will. This is a good indication of what they put in the tv, sound is equally important to a tv screen, right?
Finally, make a point to turn down the brightness switch. They know people make decisions by looking at the picture, so they all turn the brightness up as high as possible. This does two things, it shortens the service life of the factory light behind the screen, if LCD is what you are considering. And, it is really hard to tell the difference from any screen, based on which one is brightest. At 55" 1080p screen resolution makes a difference over 720p based on any brand. The LG may have a better screen resolution than the Sanyo, check and see if I am right on that one. If so, that is the difference in price.

I would have to see the specific models and specs, the features, connectivity, etc. Both LG and Sanyo are mid-grade brands. So, there would have to be some proprietary feature or something on the LG that doesn't come with the Sanyo. Or, you might be looking at last year's Sanyo model and this year's LG. And, there's nothing wrong with last year's Sanyo, if you want to save money. Around this time of year, retailers tend to drop the last year's model prices, so they can get rid of inventory.

Sanyo is a reputable brand that has been out for years. I say save the money and go for the Sanyo! Sanyo is a good brand. If your really worried then use the 250 towards a warranty!

From my adventure the 600Hz technique Panasonic makes use of works extra advantageous than the many times used one hundred twenty or 240Hz liquid crystal reveal, it would not overdo it like with the LCDs and that i've got continuously stored the characteristic enabled on my mothers and dads Plasma without noticing that unnatural bypass. basically not often i've got seen a dash of that "floating" bypass whilst the digital camera is moving sideways meanwhile some all of us is walking besides yet generally it would not look unnatural in any respect like many of the liquid crystal reveal television's interpolation implementation does. t

in all honesty for me it would come down to customer service. i think most of the t.v.s out there are so similar that you can't go too far wrong with any of them. i like to know that if i need assistance there will be someone at the other end of my phone to tell me what to do and if the more expensive one has better customer service i'd be happy to pay the extra dollars.
