How do I convince my mo to let me take a Summer math class?
I am in 7th grade and want to take Algebra 2 next year. However, you must take geometry first and I am currently in Algebra 1. I wanted to take the Geometry class over the summer, but my mom said no.
Can I not take it if we are taking a short trip? Will colleges not like the fact that I took it in the summer? How do I convince my mom to let me take it?

Is this a class in community college? If middle school summer school, colleges won't ever know you took it. They only see your high school transcript.
Summer school usually only lasts 6 weeks, so if you go on a trip you will miss too much. If your mom wants to take a trip, then there is no convincing her.
