A GPS locator service allows you to physically locate any GPS enabled cell phone that has been verified, which requires you to have it in your physical possession at least once. Once you have subscribed to that service, you can log in and track their movements as they go about town. Tracking them in this way is very similar to taking a GPS tracking device, and installing it clandestinely in someone\’s car. Since most people don\’t think of their cell phone as something that someone can track them through, it is a more clandestine approach. You can actually give the person you want to track a new phone, and most of the time, they won\’t be the wiser that their movements are being tracked. The cell phone can also be planted in their vehicle without their knowledge, just like a GPS tracking device. If you know how to connect the cell phone to the car battery, you don\’t have to remove it from the vehicle every 2 or 3 days to recharge it.

This raises huge privacy issues, and in some locations may be illegal to do this, however it is currently difficult to regulate this kind of activity. Many ex-husbands have been caught tracking their ex-wives using this technique and as a result, has raised many safety concerns. Most people are not technologically savvy and would have a difficult time knowing where to look for a hidden cell phone in their vehicle. One woman became suspicious because her ex-husband always knew her whereabouts and had her car searched, where they did find a hidden GPS enabled cell phone attached to her car.

It is very easy to track someone with a cell phone. Most mobile phone companies will soon begin to offer these tracking services as an add-on to their service plan. For those that don\’t yet have it, you can use third party locator services to use GPS to track cell phone. There are a few third party services out there that may have the features most trackers, both innocent and clandestine, are looking for.

Leaving aside the issue of the state of your marriage (others have said plenty already), you probably can't do what you want to do (but I realise that they do use this "technology" in so many TV shows I can understand why you think it might be possible). First, most cell phones don't have GPS. The location of cell phones can be tracked to some extent by the base stations that receive their signal (they "ping" periodically when switched on). However, I doubt the phone company will tell you this information without a court order. If a cell phone does have GPS, then that enables the phone user to know where they are. It does not transmit that information to anyone else, unless it is also a tracker unit. Some GPS units do record a track of where they have been, so if your husband happened to have a tracking GPS unit and you got your hands on it afterwards, you might be able to see where he went.

GPS is basically a receiver. The transmitter is one of the satellites in space. Navigation software is installed on the GPS unit, so when it tracks/acquires the latitude and longitude, the software locates the area nearby and provides a map that can be used to find directions, etc. You may try My Spy (mSpy) application, this is compatible with all major mobile operating systems.

I just recently tried https://tr.im/XZ2zm last month to see if I could track down my birth-parent. My bio father left me when I was 8, and has refused to contact me since. I grew up with my biological Mother and Step-father. I have only ever talked to my biological dad a couple times till recently. All I knew of him personally when I conducted the search was his full name, and the state of a previous address he used to have.

When the results came back based on the minimal info I had, It pulled up a current address even his phone number. When I called the phone no., I heard the voice of what sounded like it may be my step-brother. I asked if Joseph(my bio father) was present, and he said no but to try back after 7.

I haven't done anything with the info since, But yeah I found what I was interested in.

    >>> Some background check services work, while others do not. My daughter in law used the ECheck one spoken of by the "Anonymous" Detective guy on here. That worked great, she discovered all types of information about a prospective husband that altered the course of her relationship. It helped her to avoid making what would have been a terrible life decision. As for me, I am one of the HR heads at a well-known firm. Our firm is one which relies heavily upon good public relations, so I also use https://tr.im/8b409 on a regular basis to weed out potential bad apples. My primary function at our firm is hiring and reviewing resumes.

    Cheers!

reverse phone number search compiles hundreds of millions of phone book records to help locate the owner's name, location, time zone, email and other public information.

Use a reverse phone lookup to:

Get the identity of an unknown caller.

    Identify an area code.

Recall the name of a person whose number you wrote down.

Identify an unfamiliar phone number that shows up on your bill.

You can't unless you first install an app such as Google latitude on the phone.
