Is there anything wrong (health wise) with swallowing blood from your mouth? Diseases from my own blood?

Just got wisdom teeth extracted and a tongue frenectomy (cutting of the the webbing under the tongue to lengthen it) so I'm bleeding. I swallowed some of the blood, but is that unhealthy? Can I get a disease from swallowing my own blood?

You're not going to contract anything from swallowing your own blood that you don't already have. So the answer is no you cannot get any disease from swallowing your own blood.
