Sharing my music via youtube?
I've been composing for about 4 years now and I'm interested in getting it out there. How do I go about putting my music on youtube or online without worrying about people stealing it? I know there was like on website that had like a creative copy write to protect its users music from being stolen. Any suggestions?

The first thing to do us get the music and songs copyrighted first, with a legal government copyright, issued by the copyright office. Mailing it to yourself is not a copyright, nor will it stand as protecting your work in a court of law either. The person that gets the copyright owns the rights to the song. A website's copyright does not protect the work of others either. It only serves to protect the work created by the site, and its ownership. In short any user submitted content is not protected under their copyright, nor can they protect it for someone.

If that is an unsigned artist, it is dubious that while you add the video and youtube scans it for copyright that the song could be identified and muted or claimed upon add. It must move proper via without a disorders..on the grounds that the band's song would possibly not be within the approach. The simplest obstacle could be the band claiming it themselves however you are saying you have got their permission so it's going to be high-quality.
