What do you think would happen if plastic became illegal all over the world?
How do you think people would react?
Do you think a new material would be made so that it is environmentally friendly, but can still be used as a sturdy container?
And anything else you have on this topic

It would be bad for drink makers. Pepsi and Coke would freak out. Plastics companies would freak too. Plastics are good for the medical industry tho.I hope they find an environmentally friendly material to substitute for plastics tho. Also, there is a plastic and garbage patch the size of Texas in the ocean and it would probably help to make most plastics illegal.

Um the militias and the whole tea party would revolt...and I would probably join them lol. Basically It would be a bloody massacre in our backyard and millions will die. I'm not trying to sound overly dramatic but the situation you gave is overly dramatic, the militias are on the edge right now... the tea party/ron paul supporters are claiming voter fraud left and right...all eyes are on our government now after they passed the NDAA. Trust me the last thing you need to worry about is the environment...because we are trillions of dollars in debt and are in multiple wars...resulting in our freedoms being taken away every day.

It wont.
But if it did of course something else will be made. Be interesting to see what considering plastic is used in cars, cell phones, air planes etc.
