Should gays be able to adopt? Graduation Project.?

I picked this question for my graduation project and I said that they should be able to adopt but I need three main reasons why? I need these 3 reasons supported by research from psychiatrists, doctors and other professionals since i can't use personal experiences from gay parents and myself.

Please honest truthfully and if you don't agree that they should be able to adopt, please refrain from answering this question with mean answers.

These are my top 2 reasons:

1. Children raised by gay parents have showed no difference then other children being raised by straight parents.

2. They are sometimes better parents since they have chosen to become parents.

And i am missing a third one.

Thanks for your help. :)

    3. Gays are exactly the same as anyone else. they pay taxes, have jobs, eat food, etc. why keep a child in the system when there is a perfectly loving, and financially stable family ready to accept them?

    3. it is not fair to the child that, just because there potential parents are gay, they a refused a safe and loving home. there are too many kids in need to have this restriction because so many gay couples want to adopt. maybe research how many more kids would have families if there were gay adopters.

or how many were denied homes because of this.

what a shame... it breaks my heart honestly

    good luck and take care

How about that they could be more likely to teach their kids about acceptance of diversity and stuff like that?

Or that it's just a basic human right to be able to adopt a child if you desire (assuming you're fit to be a parent, of course).

I wouldn't really mind but on the other hand, I wouldnt want MY parents to be gay. It seems crucial for a child to grow up without a mother or a father figure.

    3. You would deny a child parents and leave him or her in an orphanage just because the prospective parents are gay?

Yes if they are willing to adopt it means they are willing to try their best as parents.
