is the diet a good one?

i am 15 and i am not overweight but recently i have been leading an unhealthy lifestylediet which was putting me at risk of becoming overweight if i carried on..

so i have tried to adopt a healthier lifestyle

i am 5ft 4 and weight 54kg

i wasnt that active today as i have been revising for an exam all day except 2 and a half hours running around in the snow and sledging and walking...

i ate

oatmeal: 30g oats,100ml milk,150ml water,one teaspoon of brown sugar,cinnamon,ginger and 4 blackberries. (200cal)

1 belvita biscuit: healthy biscuit containing oats and wholegrain (50 cal)

cup of tea: normal black tea with a little milk, no sugar.

one slice of brown toast with one portion of baked beans

banana

satsuma

plum

half an apple

2 strawberries

bowl of peas

very small amount of noodle soup (containing water, kidneybeans, chickpeas, lentils, nood… a load of herbs) like the amount you could hold if you cupped your two hands together

is this too little or too much?

is it balanced?

Quite good but I think you need to cut down on the sugar and try some more high protein foods such as eggs for breakfast, more beans maybe etc etc

Since your still a teenager and still developing you should be eating at least 1500cal a day, even if you are sedentary, obviously more if you are excersising too. The amount you have said you have eaten today doesn't even sound like half of that, which could lead to consequences - ie - malnutrition. It really is too little, but the nutrients sound well balanced - just eat more of them!
