why do people hate LeBron so much, he is an amazing player, are all these haters Cleveland Fans?
i know a lot of haters are just following the trend of hating on LeBron but what is their reason? do they have a life??
i guess if you think his team is now a beast, but there are plenty of other teams with multiple amazing players in them, OKC, Clippers, Boston, Knicks, why hate on LeBron?

I don't hate him, but I don't have a lot of respect for him, either. When he was with the Cavs and saying all the right things about loyalty to his home town and wanting to stay there and bring Cleveland a title, I though he was a pretty good guy. Then he went back on what he said, did "The Decision", and went to Miami to win some easy rings with Bosh and Wade. That disappointed me. Since then, he hasn't done anything to rebuild any of that lost respect.

Whats up Frank
There are several reasons i can think of:
(1) LeBron James: LeBron James handled the situation very poorly and even watching his Nike commerical today- i just find it classless. i actually am a huge Dwayne Wade fan but it's hard to root for LeBron. People think fans are either pro Kobe/anti-Lebon or vice versa- but they make the debate about who is better. For me - Kobe (not perfect by any means) is just a lot more professional about how he handles his business. i think LeBron is classless and so i will always root against him winning a ring- although reality is he should have multiple rings by the time he retires.
(2) The Plan- The 3 have been planning this since the Olympics- and (again esp. James) to drag so many teams through the ringer when that was the plan - kind of upset me as well. i thought about the Knicks and other teams that gutted their roster and it was all just an ego trip for LeBron. He should have allowed Cleveland to trade him to Miami (so at least they were left with something) and then to do the fans the way he has- just not right.
(3) All the bandwagon and hype- All these Miami fans have come out of the wood-works. Additionally you have people talking about them winning 73 plus games, etc. and they haven't even accomplished anything. They will be good, they will be a challenge for many teams, but i for one hope that the experiment fails.

There are lots of reasons that people dislike him. One big reason is the fact that he was/is named a future hall-of-fame candidate without really accomplishing that much in his almost decade long career. He has "led" his team to the NBA finals twice already but his fame reflects that of a NBA champion. Also, he does seem to be very cocky at times (although most NBA All-Stars are), especially with the whole "decision" drama and hype he made when he was deciding which team to join. The last reason is an obvious one though. He is so talented that he makes past and present all-stars seem "less impressive". His stats are so amazing already that it seems he will surpass a lot of other nba "heroes" which makes others uneasy.

I think no one is hating on Lebron's talent or
basketball skills.
I think people hate him for his personality, they
way he response to the media, his fans and how
he didn't step up when he is so close to win it all.
but I think deep down Lebron is a good person, just
saying the wrong thing which I am sure he don't mean
most of the time... maybe he need new PR crew around
him.

"The Decision" definitely left him a bad reputation. That's why I don't respect him off the court. I respect him on the court since he's a great player, but how he left Cleveland was not right.

Excuses, excuses if he was the chosen one, which he is Not, he would've beaten the Big 3, D Howard, Dirk
& would've proven to us IN Cleveland that he was the man, without DWade or Bosh, or any sidekick for that matter.

Think about it if there was a team who will win a ring each year for the next decade , destroying your team each year . Wouldn't you be a hater?
