When looking for a dog car harness or doggie seat belt system, do you expect them to have been safety tested?
Most dog car harnesses and doggie seat belt systems for sale are untested. Anyone can make and sell these important dog car safety items and claim they will keep you, your dog and other vehicle occupants safe without conducting any safety strength or crash testing whatsoever.

They absolutely should be tested. If you plan on purchasing a dog car harness or other pet travel safety device for your dog, ask for testing results. The Bergan dog car harness is a brand which has been strength tested. PetBuckle has done actual crash testing along with strength testing - http://www.petautosafety.com/pet-buckle-dog-car-sa...
