Computer Geeks.. please help. Best computer for social network games.?
I am one of those nerds who play Farmville, Castleville, Pioneer Trails and Words with Friends on Facebook. I like to have more than one game going at once. My shockwave keeps crashing and everything runs way too slow. Right now I have an HP Intel Core Duo 2, T6500 @ 2.10 GHZ . RAM is 4.00 GB. 64 Bit operating system. I am thinking of buying another HP with 8GB DDR3 SDRAM, 2.3GHz AMD quad-core A6-3400M accelerated processor (4MB L2 Cache). Will this computer fix my problems with shockwave crashing while playing my games and for it running so slow?. Thanks for your help and thanks for being so darn smart!

Some of those flash games can be surprisingly processor intensive. I have a pretty high-end video card, and I've seen frame rates drop down into the teens from time to time.
I think the systems in general are good, just need to make sure they have a dedicated GPU on a graphics card (nVidia or ATI) If it's an Intel graphics chip, it will have less performance, even in your facebook flash games.
