Directions to Croke Park?

Easiest directions from Hueston Station to Croke park? the St.james avenue entrance?

Any thoughts?

Don't want to be hopping on and off too many buses.

(This is the first time i've used this section for something travel related)

Hi. Take the LUAS Metro red line, the stop is right outside the main entrance of Heuston Station. Take this into Dublin centre and get off on Abbey Street. From here you can take a bus 41, ask the driver to let you off at Drumcondra road nearest to Croke Park and from there its a 2 minute walk.

or you can walk from the city centre, its only about 1 km.

when you get off the metro at Abbey street, walk straight ahead, turn first left onto O'connell street.

Carry on straight until the end of the road and walk up parnell Sq. East the road goes slightly uphill. carry on and then turn left at Denmark Street and walk straight on. you will come to Jones road and the Stadium will be to your right. to get to St James, walk straight on and turn right at Clonliffe road and St James is just ahead. Enjoy the game
