I'm pregnant, why do I feel bad after the gym?

I'm 25 weeks pregnant, and I started going to the gym about 2-3 weeks ago. All I typically do is light cardio--like walking briskly on the treadmill, etc. I do some light weight lifting--typically no free weights--so I don't injure myself. However, I've noticed, when I leave the gym and go home, instead of being in a good mood--like they say you will, I just feel ornery--you know...just a bad mood. Is this common? Is this possibly a sign that I'm over doing it at the gym? I only work out for about 1 to 1.5 hours. Since I started, my blood pressure has gotten better--which is a good sign, right? I'm not over weight--I just started working out again, because I heard it was good for me and the baby. Any incite?

Update:

It's not a new routine. I used to go to the gym quite frequently, but stopped because of my busy schedule. I just started going back is all.

Update 2:

Also, since I started working out, my back spasms have gone away, and I sleep way better on the days I work out. My last check up they said the baby was doing just fine. I feel her moving and grooving constantly.

you shouldn't be starting a new exercise regime while you're pregnant, didn't you discuss it with you ob/gyn first? stick to the treadmill please!

After morning sickness was over I started working out again and I felt exhausted and just wanted to be left alone to rest (hard with 3 1/2 year old lol) but after a few weeks of doing exercise I felt great. I was sleeping better and had more energy. I do think you may be right about over doing it and hour to hour and half seems like a lot on the body but that might just a lot for me. I order DVDs on amazon specifically for pregnancy and I love them...my back feels so much better the days I work out verses the days I don't. I thought that the DVDs were going to be wimpy but they actually use weights and gets my heart pumping- even the pilates.

I got the 10 minutes solution prenatal pilates (5 different work outs that you can do all or just a few depending on how you feel that day)

    The perfect pregnancy work out.
