Ever wish you were the opposite sex?

For some reason, I've always had this itch nagging me. I've always wondered what it would be like if I was a guy. Well, I've always wished I was a guy but i still like guys. So basically, I always wished I was a gay guy? Confused....not like i'd actually change myself or anything. Just asking, has anyone ever felt this way? Is it some feeling of 'transgender confusion'?

Update:

Haha, love the fantasies, keep them coming ;D

Yes. I definitely have and still do. Honestly, I've always thought of how guys have it easier than girls. I know that their lives aren't exactly 100% Peachy, but it is seems far better than girls.

    List:

    -No stupid periods

-No cramps (some females' cramps are so bad that they have to stay home and take pills, vomit b/c of the pain, etc)

-People always stereotype that girls are weaker than guys (I know that guys naturally have more muscle to fat ratio than to girls because girls have to have the babies, but there are some pretty strong girls out there)

-Girls are always classified and told that they have to fit into a certain gender bottle

-Guys seem to have more freedom

    -Girls are more vulnerable

-Guys don't have to care about their physical appearance as much and people won't care if they are ugly. (I'm serious. Girls are judged way more)

-Girls, when they get bullied, holy cow is it worse. They get beaten and emotionally + mentally scarred. Girls are scary as hell when they bully. They will cut your hair, burn you, say you look like **** and nip at your most vulnerable points.

-Girls are expected to like certain things like kids, feminine things, and one day have a family. (I know that I will never have kids because I do not want them. Ever. I have repeatedly told everyone who even dares to mention that I will)

-People stare at girls' boobs. I am so sick of this. Even if it's just average sized and COMPLETELY covered. When you work as a cashier, some customers will literally just stare there so openly. DO YOU HAVE NO SHAME?

-Guys get paid more than girls for the same damned job. (This is true for most but not all jobs)

Etc...etc...etc... The list goes on and on and ON

I'm not a girly girl nor am I an extreme tomboy. I have my own style - androgynous. :P

Also I have always fantasized about being a gay guy. xD I love yaoi... so maybe that's why.

It's definitely normal to wonder about what life would be like as the opposite sex.

If you feel this way all the time or often enough that it starts to affect you in a negative way, that's when you might consider that you are transgender, and perhaps seek the advice of a gender specialist or just talk to someone you know about it. There are plenty of people who experience this feeling, trust me.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it - to be honest, I feel the same way. Sometimes just looking in the mirror and seeing that I'm a girl makes me want to punch a hole in the wall.

Source(s): I think being female sucks. Oh well.

I think it's normal, I do it to. Everyone does it honestly. My brother and his friend asked me to give them a makeover one time because they wanted to feel and see what it would be like as a girl. And even though I wonder what its like to be a guy and even sometimes want to be, I still think girls have a lot of stuff better bc we have much more clothing options, can have a **** ton of fun with makeup, and can dress up one day for no reason at school and not get judged. Also we can act more masculine some days and more feminine other days and totally not get judged for it. I think I just wonder about it because I sometimes wonder what I would look like as a guy. But after that I would want to go back to being a girl haha.

I am male, very young and a weird guy, probably because I am quite open and I share the fact that I wished that I was born as a girl hehe. Why? Well I am not gay even tho I support gay people, I even have a lot of friends that are gay and I totally respect them. But when we see what guys do (not ALL guys necessarily). They only look for getting the vagina before dumping the girl and to get in trouble. Some of the males are nice people also. But when I am out in the community, I mostly see bad sides from males. I don t like it.

Now, more about me; I am very young (18 years old), a male of course, very shy, don t like to get in any kind of trouble, had 3 girlfriends in my life. All girfriends cheated on me. Last time I had a girlfriend like 5 years ago (when I was 13), and after a lot of time being cheated on, I decided never to look for a girlfriend again for a long period of time. I have seen a lot of people I know using girls as tools to make themselves feel good, and seen girls cry and suffer after being dumped the very next day, and I feel very sorry for them and kinda understand it. That s why I don t feel ok for being one of the males. I just don t. :/

After all these years of seeing what awful things boys do, I have been getting those feeling of despair reciently, a crying voice inside my head asking the question "Why wasn t I born as a girl? Why a deep voice and harmful fists instead of a gentle voice and a pink long hair?" (yes, I would ve grow my hair long and dyed it in pink if I was a female xD ). Of course, I am not even thinking of plastic surgery or something like that HAHA, I am male and I have to cope with it. But my best friend told me once that I have similar characteristics as a shy lovely girl with a gentle heart, and I appreciated it. It cheers me up every time I think about it.

I don t know much about your way you girls live either, but I wish you stay happy and never fall for nasty boys that want to use you as tools. Stay strong and I hope you find a guy who really cares about you. :)

Sometimes, since it would eliminate the dreaded "straight-girl-crushes". But you might be transgendered. Just think it over. It's pretty normal to wonder what it would feel like to be the opposite gender, actually.

I get what your saying. I honest to god wish I was a boy, but at the same time I like girly things. Joeyblondewolf2 on youtube is what you call gender queer. She is a guy and a girl she acts like both but is more like a boy, so you could be that

Yea, I think it would be so much better being a boy because: No periods They don't give birth They don't have to spend ages to get ready They are generally more chilled out They are not expected to clean up They get more things done for them by their mother

Well, I have just one little opposite-sex fantasy: I'm playing roulette in Monte Carlo--dressed in a long, sparkly, low-cut dress, with my hair up, dripping with jewels--a matching parure of emeralds and diamonds, tiara, earrings, bracelet, rings, necklace. And I take off this dinner ring that looks like an emerald and diamond doorknob, and, with a negligent air, place it on 16 Black....

It's the only thing that I can think of that I couldn't do as a man.
