Complications of diverticulm on my urethra?

I am a 35 year old female who was diagnosed with a UD when I was 20 weeks pregnant. That was 4 yrs ago, a recent routine urine test showed a lot of microscopic blood and infection. I was given a 5 day dose of cipro and had another urine test sent out, which came back with plus 2 bacteria and blood. I've had a gummy clear discharge after urinating a couple of times. Has anyone ever had experience with a urethral diverticulm? Are these systematic? Has anyone had one removed? How did you make out? Thank you for any help you may have

I've never had any experience personally of course but as a Histopathology Technician I can tell you that 5 days on Cipro isn't enough to clear up the problem. Ten days to 2 weeks would be more effective.
