MacBook Air or MacBook Pro?
My dad wants to purchase me a new MacBook laptop as a high school graduation present, but I don't know which MacBook to choose. He says I can have any one I want, so the sky is the limit I guess. I don't anything about computers though. So which should I choose: MacBook Air or MacBook Pro?

It really depends on how much space you need, whether you will be traveling a lot, and what you will be using it for. No matter what you choose, buy the Apple Care! That will take care of any problems you might have, and it's like insurance for your computer. Back to the different kinds - the Air is extremely lightweight, however it doesn't contain a CD drive. The Pro has a lot more space on it, and has the CD drive. Both if them are fast, but the Pro is faster because it is bigger and therefore has more space on it. It's your choice, but considering that the sky's the limit, I would choose the Pro. Good luck!

I would definitely choose a pro, but it depends on what you want to do with it.
For simple applications such as Word (or Pages), Mail and internet browsing I would choose an Air, if you have to more heavy duty stuff to do I'd choose a Macbook Pro.
You can basically see the Air as a mini notebook (or netbook) and a Pro as a normal laptop.

I personally prefer the macbook pro. The Air is lighter but imo the macbook pro is more useful.
