My budget is limited, but I need a retreat/vacation. Any ideas of inexpensive places to go for a month that is?

peaceful. I love being in natural places and want things to be inexpensive and simple. What country is affordable? And any accomodation ideas would be appreciated.

Update:

Please hear me-where I live is irrelevant as I want to go somewhere else.

And as my questions states, I am not looking for "fun activites"

I want nature and peace.

Update 2:

Also, this is not about doing an on-line search. I asked the question here because I want to hear from people's personal experiences and am looking for out of the way, off the beaten track kinds of places, not commercial ones

A month long vacation could be pricy like they said but you could totally do it on a budget. Get a place with a little kitchen and you would save tons of money not eating out all the time. I love looking at vacation destinations and love many places I have been. If you are looking for Florida I would recommend singer island! It's really low key and not a party scene for all the spring break weeks coming up. I go their every year and on Wednesday or Tuesday nights (sorry not sure) along the river they have cute craft tables up, people doing character drawings, and you have to eat the Grouper dog they have out at a venue. It is just relaxing. We stay at a friends condo so it's cheap but there are places to look on VRBO for a month rent. If you stay close to the Marriott you can usually use their pool too. Another pretty place is Siesta Keys in Florida but it is really busy for spring break. Another place that is low key/ has nature stuff is Nashville Tennessee. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It is beautiful and fun places to go and see. I won't list it all out to make this super long lol Those are my top destinations I have been too! Hope you find a top favorite destination of your own :)

It kind of depends on where you live. Try going online and searching the name of a place and then recreation/vacation/activities (any of those 3 words would work). You'll get a big list of fun activities you can do in that place for very little money. Enjoy your vacation!!!

If your budget is limited, going on a month long retreat isn't the best idea. However it really depends on the country you are looking into.
