I listened to this song because of the ugly comment given here which
I did not want to see stand alone.
Dolly Parton herself is surely a mixed up lady, and a very sad story,
so mixed was she with the church singing growing up, then turning
entirely to Mammon.
But yes, she had a gift of voice and beauty.
But God can and does turn a curse into a blessing.
We have the words, the music, the meaning, don't we.
When we lose someone so close on this earth, I really feel
for this. I know my time will come for this also, and no matter
how I'm grateful where my spouse is, I will enter a 'half-life'.
And then I will be glad to go home also, as I expect you
are also. I'm glad your wife is out of her sufferings,
and you love the Lord also.
