What do you dislike the most about people in this category?

I'm a wildlife biologist/rehabilitator so BOTH those points get to me, the second more than the first. I'm okay with people who have unreasonable expectations from animal-based jobs. After all, they don't know that real life isn't like Animal Planet. But they also figure it out really fast - a lot of people who get into this field of study realize quickly that it ain't for them! And there's nothing wrong with that. Might as well go through the phase, realize it's not what it's cracked up to be, and switch their planned career.

The second one really, really bothers me. Can't detail all the reasons why here, but you hit it pretty close. It's cruel to the animal, who is not domesticated and lives in constant fear of humans. It's unprofessional and irresponsible and most of the time, people cannot provide the care that they need to keep them healthy and happy. The end result...the animal suffers. And last but not least, in most states, it's illegal! In ALL states, keeping wild birds is illegal.

I've had to personally euthanize wild animals that people have raised to be "pets" and then surrendered them when they're "not cute" or they've figured out that "there's something wrong with it." It's a mercy killing - the animal would live in agony for the rest of its life - but that doesn't make it okay. Because of one person's stupid, selfish decision, an animal was deprived of a natural life in the wild and has to die instead.

Oh, and I also dislike when kids come on here and want answers to ther homework questions. Seriously, there's at least Google. Ridiculous to want all the answers spoon-fed to you.

I agree with everything you have listed. Not only do the people who want exotic pets and jobs bother me, but also the people (person) who said they are going to own their own zoo and we can't tell them no. Really?! Accept reality, person! And after that, the people who bluntly say "NO!!!!!!! NOT POSSIBLE!!!!! YOUR SO FULL OF SH!T!!!" And yell at the person. And sometimes, it's a reasonable question! And not only that, but they also give no support to their answers! And the people who think they know everything and give out wrong information are always "top contributors" and they never put sources! And people who ask about Bigfoot or Sasquatch get way to much hate. I myself am right now neutral in the debate but I'm always open to new theories and I'm not going around calling people out saying "YOU STUPID KIDS! DOES NOT EXIST!". We dont know what is real and what isn't. And the people who make up "which animal would win a fight" questions kind of bug me a bit. Cause if thy are kids, who knows if they are gonna grow up and pin Animals together to fight. And one user called out EVERYONE individually. Some he just said "complete nonsense". And one user who I referenced to earlier really bugs me.

Well I'm not a regular here yet but I know a fair share of animal facts.

First of the number one thing that gets me so mad is when ignorant people buy or take a wild animal just cause its cute.

For example just yesterday someone said they got a "warm blooded turtle and deprived it from uv lighting for 2 weeks.

Not only that but the people who put turtles in a soup container get me so mad.
