Eventually yes. The SPL is a small financial bubble compared to the English. I think it may take a little longer but when that bubble bursts it will be a catastrophe. People blame the clubs and the finance guys but at the end of the day it's really the supporters who are to blame. We have allowed the rich guys to take control of what was the common mans game. Now at footballs dizzy heights there are no common men. Only Abramovich and guys with yachts and private aeroplanes. Then there was the Bosman ruling, this allowed players to take more control, seemed fine at first but now the players are in such demand they can command ridiculous sums of money just for playing a game of football. How well they play becomes irrelevant when dealing with sums of money like this, it got ridiculous a long time ago, especially when the government spoon feeds us this economic downturn, global crisis palava on a daily basis.

who knows, i think rangers biggest problem is that they never paid the taxes on players wages.

the likes of abramovic and mansour have no tax issues, if they do leave their clubs they will probably leave them with enough financial support for a few years. unless they sell outright to another moneybags investor.

If it can happen to a club the size of Rangers then it can happen to any club.
