Can you get mac os on Xps 14z?
Soon I'm looking forward to be buying a laptop. I'm stick between Xps 14z and Macbook Pro. The Xps for performance and the macbook for its software. Can you install the macs os on the Dell Xps 14z?
If the answer is yes explain the answer such as a link which explains how to do it or can you explain how to do it e.g. what stuff I need and how to do it.
None of you are understanding why I'm buying a XPS 14z. It has MORE performance than the macbook pro for less money.

If it can be run on it, it would be one big hassle!!!
You do know that windows will run on a Mac without any hassles right?
Well then buy it and run that great generic OS!!! Don't bother with OS-X! No one knows how to install it on that Comp!
Or Google it!!!

No...well, technically yes, but it'll be more trouble than you want.
EDIT: Yes, we know the XPS machines have better performance than any Apple computer. However, OS X is designed to work only with Apple-branded machines, so unless you're willing to do a Hackintosh, which is a ton of work and still doesn't run properly after you do all the work and hardware hacking, you cannot get OS X on your Dell. Honestly, you don't need to install OS X on an XPS machine...get the machine that has more capability and flexibility over any MacBook.

You should get a MacBook Pro and install VMware's Fusion 4 on it then install Windows 7 inside of that. That way you have a great quality laptop and the best of both OS worlds all in the same machine.
