It depends on whether you think that now you know what to expect on the tests you will be able to do better on future ones. Sometimes knowing how the tests are going to be will help you study for the next one. Also, if this is a required course, what are the chances you are going to get him again?

Why not just buckle down and study hard instead? Give yourself a challenge. You would still have to take the class someday. Get it over with now! Give yourself a chance now!

Talk to your professor. He can give you a more realistic idea of what you need to get on the next exam so you can see if you can meet that.
