Skyrim: If I marry my companion and I use them to fight still can I pick up another companion?
I am at a cross road in the game where I can marry either my companion (Marcurio) which I heard once I do he can come and go as my follower and I will not have to pay him each time. Or I can marry Camilla Valerius (from Riverwood).The question I have is, if I want to hire another companion, will it allow me or will I be met with the "It looks like you already have a companion" message?

ON Skyrim you can only have one at a time no matter if you married to one. If you try to hire another they will just say you already have somebody with you

No, it will give you the "It looks like you already have a follower" message.
You can't have 2 followers at the same time.
