how to get firefox to go to url instead of searching for it?

I just upgraded my Mac and now if I type 'cnn' in the url box it searches for CNN instead of just loading the page. If I wanted to search I'd use the search box!

How do I get it to stop doing this?

    i dont know if it works on mac, but on windows if you hold ctrl when you hit enter then it adds the www. and .com

    Also ctrl+shift+enter does .org

    It's not searching, it's displaying links from your previous visits to CNN. The easiest way to go direct if this bothers you is to put the link on your toolbar or just make a link to the main CNN homepage.

    i dont know but you can make a bookmark to the page then it's only like 2 clicks away. much easier.

    cnn.com instead of just cnn
