08 Mustang GT Performance Cams?
Been looking at performance cams, and the only thing read is that they make your Mustang sound more lopey. I know this isn't the only reason people install these, so what are the benefits?

They keep the valves open longer to allow more air\fuel to get in and same goes for the exhaust to get out

They basically increase the valve opening and closing times so the valves are open longer so more air/fuel mixture goes into the combustion chamber and ultimately gives you more power, I think its something along the lines of that.
