I've been terrified of the world lately?
Can't stop these thoughts...so many fears...I can't stop worrying about human trafficking and being kidnapped (my fears of)...fears of violence. I don't know why I've become focused on my fears, but I fear that the world is a horrible place. I can't see the good lately. I'm losing my ability to concentrate on the good. What should I do?!

So how much of any of it can you control?
What is going to happen is going to happen, pretty much regardless of what you do or don't do.
Control what you can; deal with what you can't and know the difference.

life is hard. life isn't fair. life is scary.
this is all true. no one told you life was going to be easy. the world is a scary place.
HOWEVER, the world is also beautiful. life is beautiful.
I am not going to tell you that your fears don't exist. I will tell you that your fears will always be present but you MUST look at/for the good/beautiful things in life and in this world. Life is too short to be afraid. You only have ONE CHANCE to live. Make the best out of it. Follow your dreams, get lost, and be aware of your surroundings. IF you do this, you will be alright... i'm sure of it.

I have that notion myself sometimes; the world is turning in to a horrible place but there are some brilliant parts of the world too. Just take a trip to somewhere amazing in nature or if you feel the need to help these people join a charity-it'll make you feel really good about yourself :)

You most likely have anxiety disorder. There's mild, normal and severe ones. If you can't cope, try to see a psychologist/counsellor. It's a strong fear and shouldn't be kept alone.

And soon you'll join a religion or become a vegan or some such silly group and get media access to start telling people what to do.
