Received payment from Ebayer with zero feedback?
I sold an item on Ebay for $775 to a buyer from Hong Kong with zero feedback but has been a member since 2004. I have already received the payment and he has a confirmed address. Is this legit?

Do not trust any emails you got. Go to paypal.com and verify the money is in your account before you do anything
If it's there, then you MUST send the item with a tracking number and signature required for delivery and keep that delivery confirmation in a safe place for at least 45 days. If the item is of any value or could be broken or damaged during international transit, buy insurance. The $5 extra you pay is going to cost you less than something arriving damaged (or the buyer falsely claiming it arrived damaged) and Paypal refunding the full amount from your account

You've got the money so there is little to worry about. Just make sure that when you send goods that they are tracked, I believe printing the postage label out via eBay takes care of that. This way they can't demand a refund due to non-delivery, which unfortunately does happen, & if the money is still in your PayPal A/C you may find it's suddenly not there anymore....so beware of that.
They probably joined the site years ago but never really had the need or time to use it until now, which would explain why they have no feedback....plenty of people like that on there. I got a laptop with the intention of going on eBay to sell stuff, & never even got round to visiting the site for two years let alone selling or buying anything!.

Was payment through PayPal? If so, you will be protected. If you have lingering concerns, wait until the money clears in your account and THEN ship. (Don't forget, eBay feedback is cleared after a certain amount of time. This buyer could have been inactive for a year and gone back to zero.)
