do you think a M91/30' Russian Mosin Nagant bolt-action rifle is worth $ 109.00?

it seems like a good deal for a 7.62 caliber rifle.

has anyone here ever purchased one of these old surplus Russian rifles ?

do you think it would shoot straight past 100 meters ?

I've got four of them. Well two 91/30's and two M44's. You can't beat them for the price. For the most part they are generally in pretty good condition. The 91/30 was actually used as a sniper rifle by the Soviets in WW2. They are cheap because the Russians made millions of them and exported them everywhere. Cheap in this case does not mean bad.

Just make sure if you get one, that you buy non-corrosive 7.62x54R ammunition. Otherwise you are going to have to clean it the second you get done firing.

  • The M91/30 can be bought for as little as $95 and uses the 7.62x54R ammunition which is available for about 20 cents per round. The Mosin Nagant is heavy and bulky, but for about 100 bucks, you have a good rifle. For under $250, you will get a rifle and over 1000 rounds of ammunition. It's a lot of bang for the buck and I too am tempted to add one to my humble collection. I fired one once and had very decent groups at 100 yards and am tempted to buy one for myself.

If the rifle you are looking at has been cleaned of the oily goo they were stored in and is in reasonable condition, the extra $15 you're spending isn't a bad deal at all. It's your duty as an American to arm yourself as well as you can afford.

  • Is it in exceptional quality? is it a sniper or ex-sniper variant? Hex or round receiver? Like plastic bag from the factory, cleaning kit, and bayonet all in a light coat of oil never before touched? These are all factors. Unless it's literally unused still NIB It's only worth like $80 tops. They're outstanding rifles but there are like 100 million of them. Now if it's an M44, M38, or Finnish version. Those are worth more. All variants are very accurate and with optics, decent mods, and good ammo are comparable or better than some modern sniper rifles.

m9130 russian mosin nagant boltaction rifle worth 10900

I just paid $175 for mine, it took almost 4hrs to clean all the packing grease out/off of the rifle. I had never heard of them before but for the price it seamed like a good deal. I have plenty of room to fire this thing on my property. Well this morning I shot it beside the house and the kerosene tank started humming. My target was an old flower pot that the wind had blown into the yard, Good shot pattern. I will buy another one.

I've seen them for $89.99 depending on condition and what if any extra's you get with it.

It will shoot fine and you can buy surplus ammo in bulk uber cheap.
