What is a good food I can pre-prepare for work lunches?
I would like to find a food that is easy to prepare for my lunches at work. I'd like to be able to prepare 5 lunches at once, so it has to last the whole week in the fridge. It should be able to be eaten cold, so I can leave the office to eat it. I'd like to avoid process meats such as ham and sliced meats. And ideally it should be a good balanced meal of vegetables, protein, and carbs. Any suggestions? Anyone providing a recipe gets bonus credit :-)

I love to cook up a boneless skinless chicken breast then place it in a bun with some ranch dressing on top. Sometimes I add a slice of cheese and or some lettuce before the ranch dressing. This is a great sandwich eaten hot or cold! Sometimes I put the ranch on before putting it in my lunch and others I put the dressing in a little cup or baggie and add it at lunchtime. Just depends on the mood.

What I found to be a good lunch dish is cooked salmon with spinach leaves. Cook one pound of salmon in an oven at 450 degrees until pink and flaky then mix with spinach leaves, adding ginger teriyaki sauce to the salmon makes for a good spice to it.
